AME INSTITUTE BURBANK 2024
The Arts Media and Entertainment (AME) Institute will return to Burbank, CA for the annual AME Institute on June 26-28 at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel and at additional Burbank locations. The 2024 AME Institute Burbank will feature speakers, software trainings, workshops, tours, an AME Expo, and networking events to support educators who are building the pipeline from public education to the creative industries. There will be more than 500 Arts, Media, and Entertainment educators and industry professionals in attendance.
The final day of the Burbank Institute, June 28, will also be Community College Day. This day’s special programming will be hosted by the Television Academy Foundation and will feature panels and speakers for the Community College AME educator. Community College educators can add this day’s special programming onto their three-day Institute ticket for an additional fee or they can purchase a single-day registration.
Pre-Conference add-ons include Adobe Bootcamps and Pre-Apprenticeship Day. The Adobe bootcamps are specifically designed to help teachers pass the Adobe Certified Professional exam and equip participants with the necessary skills to effectively teach Adobe Apps and prepare students for certification. Pre-Apprenticeship Day will focus on the tools needed to develop a Registered Apprenticeship pathway.
2024 Sponsors for AME Institute events include Adobe, CVL Economics, CA Film Commission, Dolby, Editmentor, Foundry, Soundtrap, Toon Boom, USITT, Visit Burbank, Wacom Technologies, Woodbury University, and Wix.
