Jazz at the Ballroom’s Accentuate the Positive

When:

8:00 PM

September 9

Jazz at the Ballroom (JATB) comes to the Colony Theatre in Burbank to present “Accentuate the Positive,” a performance of the unforgettable music from the Great American Songbook on Friday, September 16 at 8:00PM.

Taking inspiration from Bing Crosby’s 1944 hit song, “Accentuate the Positive,” the performance celebrates the music that was the unofficial catalogue of tunes that kept Americans company through the highs and lows of the 1920s– 1940s. Host and comedian, Dan Cronin, (The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien) shares the stage with bandleader Konrad Paszkduzki on piano, as well as Niki Haris (“The Big Voice” behind Madonna), Tony Desare (Downbeat’s Rising Star Male Vocalist, Carnegie Hall, Birdland), Champian Fulton, (Jazz at Lincoln Center, Ronnie Scotts London), Lia Booth (Monterey Jazz Festival, Vibrato Grill Jazz), and LA’s young, hip Lineage Trio (Seth McFarlane, Michael Bublé, Jeff Goldblum).

Tickets are $35-50. Purchase tickets at www.atpshow.org
