For millions of people around the world, the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl are iconic New Year’s Day traditions. These two events create the Tournament of Roses. The 111th Rose Bowl Game will serve as a College Football Playoff Quarterfinal. The game will feature two of the top-12 teams in college football. Start off your Rose Bowl weekend with Equestfest presented by Wells Fargo at Los Angeles Equestrian Center located in Burbank. This event allows you to get up close and personal with the 2024 Rose Parade equestrian units. Watch beautiful horses and talented riders perform drills and dances and demonstrate trick riding and roping. You’ll also stroll through the stables, talk to riders and learn about the different horse breeds while enjoying the vendor court, displays, great music, and good food and drinks.

Floatfest: A Rose Parade Showcase features a 2-mile showcase of Rose Parade floats following their appearance along the parade route. Each year, nearly 70,000 visitors head to Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevards in Pasadena for the chance to walk within a few feet of the floats and appreciate up close, the creativity and detail of each magnificent display. Participating float exhibitors can engage with event attendees in this event’s family-friendly, celebratory environment.

BANDFEST

Each year, the Rose Parade marching bands selected to participate in the upcoming Rose Parade are also invited to perform at the Tournament of Roses’s Bandfest. Over the course of two days, each marching band, along with its auxiliary members, performs a field show that showcases their musicianship and unique talents. This annual tradition takes place at Pasadena City College and all are invited to attend this dynamic event.
