Netflix to Open First Ever Animation Studios in Burbank

Visit Burbank is excited to announce that streaming giant Netflix will be opening its first animation studio in Burbank. Netflix Animation will be leasing 150,000 square feet at 2300 W. Empire Ave with plans to take an additional 21,000 square feet in the future. The building is located in the Empire Center in Burbank’s Airport District — an outdoor shopping, dining, and hi-tech district featuring hotels, studios, post-production houses, and more.

Media Capital of the World, Burbank is home to many animation and film studios. Netflix will be in good company with Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Cartoon Network Studios, DC Entertainment, Hasbro, Marvel, Insomniac Games, Disney Television Animation, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Warner Bros. Animation, Wild Canary, Titmouse, and many more.
