My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday. I have to say, the drinks are impeccable. The way they craft the cocktails and the presentation is amazing. We love when bars can create a presentation for cocktails. The food was really good as well. We ordered beef tartare, lobster corn dogs, charcuterie and cheese plate and the midnight in Paris dessert sampler. Just an FYI, the dessert platter is more for 4 people not 2. LOL.
This place is not the Castaway's bar, it is a secret room bar located inside Castaway. Reservations are needed, so if you plan to check it out you will need to make one.

The Green Room is the complete package and may be my new favorite cocktail place in Los Angeles. Not only do you have stunning views, the ambience is super cool and comfortable, and the drinks are delicious and inventive. I had El Mariachi, which was a super strong mezcal based drink, and has a fruity kick. My friend had the Belle, inspired by Beauty and the Beast; this drink has to win the prize for best presentation. Absolutely lovely.
And where else are you given compimentary absinthe? The Green Room is truly one of a kind and I can't wait to go back.
