Jay Leno (Jay Leno’s Garage), Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly), and over three hundred new and emerging comedians will star in the Eleventh Annual Burbank Comedy Festival August 10th – 17th at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant and select venues in Downtown Burbank.
The festival, with support from Visit Burbank and Downtown Burbank Partnership, aims to attract over three thousand guests, comedians, students, and Hollywood Industry professionals to the city for some “funny business.”
Over the past 11 years, the festival has played host to many young comedians who have become wildly popular touring acts, including JR DeGuzman, Taylor Tomlinson, Ashley Gavin, Ryan Kelly and many more. In addition to celebrity headliner and showcase shows and mics at Flappers, Urban Press Winery, The Hilton Garden Inn, and Lusanet Collective, the festival will offer comedy classes and industry panels during the day, as well as afterparties at several Downtown Burbank locations including The Story Tavern, Kalaveras, and Barney’s Beanery.
